Our Chamber has 2 principal missions :

Support strong economic relations between France and the United States
Promote the development of our member companies in the New York region

The candidate
 

In order to be eligible for a J-1 visa through the FACC program, the candidate must:

  • Be a national of a European Union member country for the VIE program.
  • Speak English well enough to participate in a training program in the United States.
  • Be 18 to 35 years of age (18 to 28 years of age for the VIE program).
  • Have received an offer to receive training from an eligible host company that corresponds with his studies.
  • Not have held a previous J-1 Training visa in the United States.
  • Have medical insurance coverage for the entire duration of the training per U.S. law.
