The French community maintains a strong presence in the Charlotte region and through out North Carolina . There are over 27 French companies located in Charlotte and surrounding counties and approximately 65 state wide. In addition to the FACCNC, organizations such as Alliance Française , European American Business Forum (EABF), International House , and the Mayor's International Cabinet help the French community to maintain strong ties in Charlotte and to other cultural and business communities throughout Charlotte and North Carolina .
